The Scout Group maintains a small Executive Committee who act as Trustees and meet about 4 times per year with the Group Scout Leader to guide the overall management of the Group. New members to assist on the Committee are always welcome.
We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year. The meeting usually only lasts an hour, and we usually hold it in July each year. We provide some drinks and food to make a social evening afterwards.
In addition to hearing from Leaders about the highlights of activities during the year, the AGM also receives our annual accounts, and will be asked to approve any increase in the subscription charges for the succeeding year.
The parents or guardians of all our Beaver, Cub, and Scout Members are invited to the AGM and are encouraged to ask any questions at all about anything to do with the Group.
